- For more experienced cavers, courses can be
designed to develop your skills. Subjects can include survey
reading, trip planning, ladder
and lifeline techniques, SRT techniques, SRT rigging, SRT rescue
- Caving
trips can also be organised in the amazing vertical region of
Yorkshire and all aspects of pot-holing can be covered. Caving
trips
can also be arranged in Derbyshire such as trips into the awesome
Peak Cavern.
- Ireland has some amazing caving in County Clare
and County Fermanagh and trips can be arranged to these beautiful
regions.
- Caving trips abroad can be arranged to places such as
the Vercours in France. If you have never been to the Vercours
and have
a love for caving then you simply must make some time to visit
this classic
region.
As well as the home of the Gouffre Berger (first cave to
reach 1000m deep) it is home to some of the best caves in the word.
Rock
Climbing/Abseiling
Indoor climbing instruction on techniques, knots, belaying and
movement coaching.
Instruction on progression to outdoor single
pitch venues and how to interpret guidebooks etc.
Canyoning
Some of the harder canyons of this country can be tackled using ropes
and involve longer descents.
Lake district Ghylls can be tackled
again using ropes and technical skills.
A more extreme trip to the French Vercours region can be arranged
starting with smaller abseils and jumps and progressing towards the
end of the trip towards more demanding/more committing canyons involving
up to 70m abseils.
Navigation Skills
Courses can be organised to suit your ability, from complete beginner
who has never used a map to people that have used them but want
more in depth teaching on skills such as micro navigation.
